Terms of service

These terms apply to the varisai.dev website and to the hosted Varisai Cloud service, both provided by Higglers Lab ("we"). Last updated 2026-10-08.

Self-hosting the software

The Varisai source code is licensed under the Elastic License 2.0. That license, not these terms, governs your use of the software on your own infrastructure. In short: you may use, copy, modify, and self-host it for free; you may not provide it to third parties as a hosted or managed service, and you may not remove its licence notices. The software is provided as is, without warranty.

Varisai Cloud accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account details.
You are responsible for keeping your API keys and sign-in credentials secret and for everything done with them.
You may add team members; you are responsible for the roles you grant them.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to distribute malware, or to attack or overload the service or anyone else's systems. Do not attempt to access other customers' projects. We may suspend accounts that do.

Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Razorpay, in the currency shown at checkout. Usage beyond a plan's included deliveries is billed as described on the pricing page. Retries, dead-letter redrives, and scheduled messages that have not yet fired are never billed. You can cancel at any time; service continues to the end of the paid period.

Your data

You own the messages and configuration you put into Varisai Cloud. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. Message retention follows the per-stream setting you choose.

Availability and liability

Varisai Cloud is in early access. We work to keep it available and durable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service unless a written enterprise agreement says otherwise. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes and termination

We may change these terms; material changes are announced by email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Either side may end a Cloud account at any time. On closure we delete your data within 30 days.
